There is no doubt that life behind bars is difficult and stressful and brings with it a new learning experience for those who now must adapt to a new way of living. Even with resources and volunteers, rehabilitation can be difficult for many inmates for a multitude of reasons. So, should those who will remain behind bars be given opportunities to change? Why or why not? What should be done for inmates when they have less than 2/3 years left behind bars? What programs would you like to see those who are going to be released back into society participate in?
