Position Paper:Will eating less beef have a significant impact on global climate change?

Write a 500-word position paper that considers whether or not eating less beef will have a significant impact on global climate change. Among the things to consider are the environmental impact and cost of cattle production, the health risks and/or benefits of consuming red meat, and some possible alternatives that might make your paper’s position more favorable. As much as possible, try to incorporate some of the recently learned chemistry concepts (i.e. greenhouse gases and the greenhouse effect) in the essay. The paper should include the proper references and follow the American Psychological Association (APA) guideline for writing papers. This position paper addresses course outcome 2. In this paper, you will defend a particular point of view on an environmental, health, and/or energy issue related to chemistry and the concepts we have discussed in CHEM 121. You will support your point of view with relatively current (using sources published within the past 10 years) scientific primary and secondary sources supporting your point of view.
