Design a purification procedure using Ion-exchange Chromatography, taking into account that you wish to purify it in its native form. Using bioinformatics determine its Molecular weight and discuss how you would confirm this proteins molecular weight and subunit composition experimentally.2. Using NCBI (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/), find the protein sequence of the Arabidopsis Type II NADH dehydrogenase NDC1 protein. Using both the following two subcellular targeting prediction programs TargetP (https://www.cbs.dtu.dk/services/TargetP/) and Predotar (https://urgi.versailles.inra.fr/Tools/Predotar), predict the sub-cellular location of this protein. Do these program agree? How would you experimentally confirm this sub-cellular location?
3. Describe the feature(s) of an Endoplasmic Reticulum (ER)-targeting signal sequence and discuss the mechanism that has evolved to ensure that this ribosome complex is delivered to the ER.
